NEW MANAGEMENT

The Five bells is currently being managed by a young couple Rob & Hannah. With plenty of experience already over the past 3 years, they have worded together as a team at several pubs with great success. The Roebuck Inn, Fleur De Lys & The Cricketers Inn to name a few. With their fresh new approach to the pub industry, you can be sure to see their ideas put into action throughout 2012 and help maintain the friendly atmosphere already established here at The Five Bells.

NEW OWNERS FOR THE BELLS

The Bells has recently reopened under new ownership and after extensive and tasteful redecoration. Now a freehouse we feature real ales brewed locally as well as a list of carefully selected wines. Our Bowman's Wallop Wood and Flac's Double Drop Bitters have now been joined by the famous London Pride along with a monthly guest ale.

We are open daily (with the exception of Sunday evening and Mondays) and now provide a menu of simple home cooked food at lunch and in the evening, using locally sourced produce whenever possible.

FUTURE PLANS

Our plans for a more extensive refurbishment of the premises are now being formulated. Internal alterations will include a lounge style bar area, new or reclaimed flooring throughout the building and the provision of en-suite guest bedrooms equipped and decorated to a very high standard. The grounds of the Bells will be reaaranged to provide even greater car parking capacity and the walled garden at the rear will be reinstated and replanted to provide a pleasant sitting area and summer sun-trap for our customers. The vegetable garden and our lawns which run down to the Wallop Brook will be carefully tended, we may even find room for a chicken run and hen house.
